Review: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Today I bring to you a review of Too Faced Cosmetic’s “Better Than Sex” mascara. This mascara has been around for quite a bit now so if you haven’t heard about it, which rock are you living under?
Before I rave on about how much I love Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, I just have to say I hate the name. While I’m no way a prude, I find the “Better Than Sex” title kind of sexist and silly; would ANYONE compare sex to mascara? OK, here goes...
This is a collagen-fueled mascara that claims to give your lashes incredible length.
The packaging is absolutely stunning and feminine. Comes in a metallic pink metal like tube. The wand has a silhouette shape to it that I suppose is suppose to resemble an hourglass figure, hence the sexy reference.
With soft, feathery bristles, the hourglass shaped brush holds a ton of product. With one coat, my lashes are saturated from root to tip with this creamy black formula. Despite the length and softness of bristles, (which can sometimes be messy/imprecise) my lashes are dense right down to the base of my lashes are fully tapered at the tips.
With the second coat; there was such beautiful volume and length that I didn’t even need to brush through with a dry spoolie. Once I applied, I didn’t have any issue with smudging or transfer.
At the end of the evening, I washed my face with face wash and water and and despite the suds looking a bit dark and messy, the mazzie came completely off with some gentle massaging.
I have tried a lot of high end mascaras, and so far, none compare to this one, in the length AND volume and ease of use it gives.
My final verdict: ignore the name, buy this amazing mascara!!!
